Since 1980, the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) has been a dedicated volunteer organization committed to supporting, educating, and celebrating the vibrant Wisconsin music community. They promote local talent, host an annual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding achievements, and provide essential resources for musicians, educators, and industry professionals across the state. The Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards take place in Madison at Atwood Music Hall on May 17. The doors open at 5 PM. Enjoy a musical evening with be performances as well as award presentations. This year the WAMI awards is centering women.
