Heidi Folk Play

Experience the cherished tradition of the Heidi Folk Play in New Glarus, Wisconsin, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the New Glarus Fest Haus. Performances are scheduled for 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Since 1965, this annual event has celebrated Swiss heritage by bringing Johanna Spyri’s classic tale to life. The play features adoptable kittens from the humane society and goats from a local farm, adding a unique charm to the performance. This year, the Heidi Folk Play coincides with Polka Fest and the Beer, Bacon & Cheese Festival, offering a weekend full of cultural festivities.
